Fuel Conservation Creates Easy Victories for Donaldson on Bristol Pavement and Dirt

Friday night was all about fuel at Bristol during the paved and dirt events - the Twisted Metal team was prepared. G3-Bristol SP was the Donaldson show sweeping the pole, fastest lap and most laps led awards en route to victory. Donaldson and Patch conserved just enough fuel to make just one pit stop while their competitors went for two. BristolDirtN looked to have a potential competitor for Donaldson when Patch captured the pole award but luck did not last long as he captured the headache award and fell to fourth. Donaldson again conserved fuel, making just one stop, and handily captured the fastest lap and most laps led award as well as his second victory of the night. DusterLag managed to barely make one stop work in his second attempt, finishing second and sputtering across the line. Donaldson's pulls away from the competition in the driver championship to a twenty point lead over Patch and DusterLag who are tied for second. Twisted Metal increases their lead in the team championship over Cyber Racing to 3 positions. View complete results for G3-Bristol SP here and BristolDirtN here.
