Donaldson made a surprise last minute entry to race one of the 2014 Sports Car Series at G3-DaytonaRC GA and made the most of it, dominating and capturing the victory. Spike looked like the driver to beat during pre-race practice and took the pole award during qualifying however Donaldson swept house - leading all twenty laps and capturing the fastest lap award en-route to his third series victory. Spike, Patch and DusterLag spent most of the race bumper to bumper and trading positions - ultimately finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. racingrick made an impressive return to the ARL after a year hiatus - finishing fifth. As expected Donaldson starts the season on top of the championship standings with a four point lead over Spike.
