Donaldson Uses Patience to Capture Grand Prix at The Glen Victory

Donaldson used patience Saturday night to capture his third victory of the season in his #5 NH Autosport Honda. Patch managed to pull to the lead in the opening laps but suffered a blown engine, one of three he would loose throughout the night. DusterLag captured the pole position award by seven tenths over Patch and proceeded to handily lead the most laps while capturing the fastest lap award. Multiple mistakes from DusterLag including driving off the course and ultimately blowing his engine on the final lap left Donaldson driving to victory and DusterLag finishing fifth. Spike held onto second followed by ltfireman1604 and Breeze in third and fourth.

Spike moved into the championship lead with a two point lead after Patch's troubles while DusterLag moves up to third. NH Autosport moves into the team championship lead with SpeedSims Racing tied while pushing Twisted Metal from the lead down to third. Honda picked up their third win of the season with Donaldson which moves them into the manufacturer championship lead by one point over Cadillac.
