The DavisV Talladega 50 victory goes to league dominator Donaldson who picks up his sixth Truck Series win. Donaldson started the race on pole and led all twenty laps pushed by Patch throughout the night. DusterLag picked up the fastest lap and stick it out awards after blowing a right front tire to finish sixth. Patch picked up second followed by Spike, cruisectrl and BlackKnight in the top five.
Donaldson also picked up series win seven at the second race of the night, the LH8 Mansfield 50. cruisectrl captured the pole for this event and pulled the fastest lap of the race however fuel would run short for half the field including cruisectrl sending him back to third. Patch picked up second, DusterLag finished fourth followed by BlackKnight fifth and Spike sixth.
The 2014 Season kicks off with a ten point lead for Donaldson over cruisectrl in the driver championship after the opening two events. NH Autosport holds an eight point lead in the team standings while Chevrolet picks both wins and leads the manufacturer championship.
