Donaldson officially captured the 2014 Truck Series Championship Monday morning after clearing all reviews. This title is Donaldson's second consecutive series championship and fourth overall league championship title. Throughout the season Donaldson picked up five race wins and three pole position awards ending the season with a twelve point lead over Patch. NH Autosport with drivers Donaldson, DusterLag and Grumpy captured the Team Championship with five race wins and three pole position awards - all captured by Donaldson. Chevrolet picked up another Manufacturer Championship title with a dominating seven race wins and six pole position awards. Four drivers raced under the Chevrolet banner this season including cruisectrl, Donaldson, Grumpy and Patch.
Drivers ran eight points races across six nights throughout the season including three heat races during the Eldora Mud Summer Classic. While the series was dominated by Donaldson - Patch and Spike also picked up three victories combined and generated incredible races and finishes. The Cup and Sports Car Series continue with plans being created for the National and Touring Car Series to be run this winter, all league drivers are encouraged to participate.
