A tight battle throughout the race between Spike and Patch came down to fuel savings in the end. Spike was able to conserve enough fuel to make just one stop for fuel during the twelve lap event while Patch had to make two stops. Patch dominated the night otherwise, leading the most laps and capturing the fastest lap award after picking up the pole position award but would finish third. Donaldson finished second on the same fuel strategy as Spike while DusterLag and Grumpy finished the night fourth and fifth.
Spike holds his championship lead over Patch by nine points with just one race remaining. SpeedSims Racing holds a ten point lead in the team standings over Twisted Metal while Cadillac leads Chevrolet and Honda with five wins to three.
