Donaldson Captures 4th Annual Nurburgring Nordschleife Challenge Victory

Donaldson captured his first IndyCar victory since 2013 and his first challenge victory Wednesday night during the 4th Annual Nurburgring Nordschleife Challenge. Eight grueling laps on the fourteen mile course took drivers through the countryside of Germany. The event took just over an hour and was the most laps run during the event ever over it's four year span. Breeze ended the night scored second but could not finish the race after suffering a race-ending wreck on his final lap. BlackKnight was a lap behind and finished third.

Patch holds two victories at this event from 2012 and 2013 while Lee606 holds his only IndyCar series victory at the 2014 challenge. Breeze was the only driver to enter the challenge this year and bested his fifth place finish from 2014.
