DusterLag and Patch captured the Night Texas IRL Dual race wins Sunday afternoon. DusterLag captured the pole for Race 1 which started out rough with much of the field wrecking out and loosing ground. This allowed DusterLag and ucrdoh to run away with the lead early and DusterLag would continue to dominate the event on and off pit road putting all but one car a lap down while he drove to victory. Race 2 started with an inverted field from the finishing order of Race 1, this put Grumpy on the pole and DusterLag last on the grid. Grumpy lead early but lost ground during a rough pit stop, Patch and ucrdoh would run away with the lead for the rest of the race except for DusterLag who would catch them without drafting help. DusterLag would sustain damage from contact with ucrdoh and would loose his front wing allowing the two driver to battle for victory until the last lap where Patch would drive to victory. ucrdoh looses a bit of ground in the driver championship lead as Patch moves to 39 points behind in second while DusterLag moves to tie ucrdoh in the oval championship.
