Donaldson Steals Show During Final IndyCar Regular Season Event at G3-Pocono SP

Donaldson stole the show Sunday afternoon during the final regular season race at G3-Pocono SP - sweeping the pole and win. Donaldson took the pole award by more than a second but spun when exiting turn one of lap one following a 3-wide start. This wouldn't stop him from coming back by the first round of pit stops, he proceeded to lead the most laps and capture the fastest lap award as he cruised to an easy victory. Patch made a strong comeback after struggling early to finish second while Spike, DusterLag and cruisectrl wrap up the top five.

The reset is here and the driver championship has been shaken up, drivers received a reset bonus point for each pole and win they took during the first twelve regular season events. DusterLag, our championship leader pre-reset, falls to second with just four reset bonus points from his four wins. Patch captured an impressive two wins and eight poles for a total of ten reset bonus points, thrusting him into a six point lead. ucrdoh, the 2012 IndyCar Series Champion, made only four starts so far in 2013 but captured two wins and two poles placing him third. Spike pulled off three wins and starts the reset in fourth while Donaldson made just three starts but catapults from ninth (246 points back) to fifth (8 points back) after sweeping Sundays race.

Patch took one point out of DusterLag's oval championship lead but still remains eleven back. Twisted Metal increases their team championship lead over Cyber Racing after sweeping first and second at G3-Pocono SP, their lead moved up to 1.42 positions from 1.15. View complete results here.
