Patch captured victory Sunday at the second annual IndyCar Series Nordschleife Challenge making him the only driver to win the event. Six drivers entered the challenge - racing seven grueling laps, one more than in 2012, around the 14 mile course. Patch nearly broke into the 6 minute time bracket with a 7:0.437 fast lap obtained while leading all seven laps. DusterLag followed close behind, 1:41.8 behind, finishing as the runner up for a second year in a row. Toward27, !Affro!, Ryano! and Grumpy all completed the challenge warping up the field.
