Spike captured his first victory of the season during the Grand Prix of Indianapolis driving his #43 Mopar SpeedSims Racing Plymouth Saturday night. Spike dominated the night - capturing the pole, most laps led and fastest lap awards while being chased by defending series champion ucrdoh. This is Spike's second Grand Prix of Indianapolis win. ucrdoh, cruisectrl, Patch and Lee606 followed to round out the top five.
ucrdoh increases his championship lead to nine points over cruisectrl while Spike makes a jump to third, seventeen points behind. NH Autosport leads the team standings by four points over SpeedSims Racing while Mercedes-Benz leads the manufacturer standings over Plymouth who picked up their first win of the season.
