Donaldson outclassed the field during the 50 Miles of Daytona Sports Car Series Special Event Friday night. While Donaldson led every lap, behind him the field remained tight with four drivers battling turn by turn. Fuel strategy appeared to be a factor early eliminating two drivers from contention for second position, in the closing laps Dracin and DusterLag swapped positions - Dracin would exit the bus stop and maintain a comfortable lead over DusterLag coming to the checkered to capture second.
