ucrdoh Captures 2014 IndyCar Series Championship; Patch Captures Oval Title


ucrdoh officially captured the 2014 IndyCar Series Championship Title Wednesday after final reviews were released. ucrdoh picked up his third consecutive series title with a dominating performance - picking up seven wins and seven pole position awards throughout the twelve race season. The season ended with Spike thirty-one points behind in the second position with two wins and three poles. ucrdoh also picked up the Road Championship by twenty-nine points over Spike. Patch finished the overall season in third position but picked up the Oval Championship by just three points over ucrdoh during a tight battle in the final race. NH Autosport with drivers Donaldson, DusterLag, Grumpy, oldns_low and ucrdoh captured the Team Championship with eight race wins and eight pole position awards. Mercedes-Benz picked up their third Manufacturer Championship title with ucrdoh as their premier driver, during the season they captured seven wins and seven pole position awards.

Drivers ran twelve points races across twelve nights throughout the season. Three-Time IndyCar Champion ucrdoh dominated the 2014 season but we did have five different race winners throughout the year including rookie Lee606 who captured his first career race win during the third running of the Nurburgring Nordschleife Challenge earning him significant respect from his fellow competitors. The 2014 OWAction All-Star Race takes place on September 27th at 7:30pm Eastern for an exciting unique 100 lap event, all league drivers are encouraged to participate.
